If your payment method is ‘Bill Pay’ you should receive a bill for your electricity costs in arrears monthly or bi-monthly.
This can be a fixed amount, an estimate based on average usage or a cost based on meter readings.
If your payment method is by 'Pay As You Go' you pay for your electricity in advance by topping up or crediting your account.
If your meter is located inside the property, it will likely be beside the fuse board. If your meter is located outside the property, it is likely to be in an ESB cabinet.
A Meter Point Reference Number (MPRN) is a unique 11-digit number which indicates the exact location of a property’s connection to Ireland’s electricity network.
Every connection and meter has its own MPRN, which is managed by ESB Networks. This information helps us quickly switch your supply to Pinergy.
Your MPRN can be found at the top of your current electricity bill.
You can still submit this form without your MPRN. A member of our team will be in touch at a later stage to retrieve this information.
